3B Unit5 How old are you ? (period 4)教案

教学目标:

1. 会诵读小诗《Dont be late again , 并能加上动作跟唱

2. 能够掌握字母s的正确发音并理解、会读语音部分句子了解引申单词。

3. 能够理解不同情境当中如何询问和回答年龄

4. 能够熟练掌握本单元扩展问答句,理解数字的重要性

 

教学重点:

教学过程:  

Step1:Warm up and lead- in

1.Greeting

T: Good morning , boys and girls .

Ss:Good morning , Miss Cheng .

T:How are you ?

Ss:Im fine , thank you .And you ?.

T: Im fine ,too . So are you happy ?

Ss:Yes , I am .

T:Great , so lets have todays lesson happily .Today well still learn unit 5 how old are you ? Now lets read the title together .

Ss:How old are you ?

2.Play a game.(say the ages quickly)

T:Nice Now lets play a game first . Say the numbers as quickly as you can .Are you ready ?

Ss: Yes .

T: OK .(触发后续指针)

3.review for lead-in

T:Good job,boys and girls. Do you remember how old they are ?( PPT分别圈出Mike , Helen , Tim .) How old is he ? How old is she ? How old is he ?

S1:He is nine . S2:She is eight .S3:He is two .

T:Great . Which toy does each of them choose ? This __ is for ___ . Can you come here to match and say ?

S4:This robot is for Mike . S5:This dog is for Helen .S6:This panda is for Tim.

T: Great ! You all have good memories. Back from the toy museum , Mike is happy ,so he Mike is very happy .He writes a diary, but some words are covered with ink. Can you help him clean it up? (引导学生根据首字母和上下文内容填空,说对答案的可以直接上讲台进行白板的操作,去除蒙层,显示答案)

Step2:Presentation

1.Sound time

T:Great ! What a happy day ! Mike is happy . And they are happy , too. Look !Where are they ?

S7:They are in the classroom.

T: Yes , why are they so happy ? Let’s Look and say .

S:They turn round and round .

T:Yes .  (教授生词turn / round )      

T: They keep on turning round and round .They feel dizzy . What do you want to say ?

S8:Don’t fall to the ground .

T:You are so clever . (教授生词fall / ground )How old are they ? Can you use “Are you ... ? ” to guess .

S9: Are you six ?(播放语音:No , I ’m not . )

S10:Are you seven ?(播放语音: Yes , I am .)

同种方法猜第二个男孩的年龄。

TYes , he is seven and he is six .Now let’s chant together .                                        

TOK ,what can you find ?

S11: They all have letter  S .

T:What does letter s say ? Let’s chant together .

Ss:Silly snake , silly snake . Sleep , sleep , sleep . S says /s/ /s/ , silly ,silly snake .

T:So S says / s /  /s/ , can you read these words? (教授seven six sister this sorry )

T:Can you say more words that S says /s / ?

T:OK , let’s play a game to consolidate .

(游戏中渗透sh字母的发音规律,同时明确iss 的发音)

 2. Rhyme time

T: Do you like this game ? Are you happy now ?

Ss: Yes .

TNow you are happy ,they are happy ,but he is not happy .Why is he not happy ?

Let’s watch and say .

S12:He is late .

T:Yes , it’s eight , he is late . Here we also have some numbers .What are these numbers for ?

S13: Time .

T: Great . It’s eight ,he is late , he knocks the door so what will they say ?

S14:Come in , please , and close the door .(Try to read )

T:He is late .What else will they say ?

S14Time for class ,but you’re late .(Try to read )

S15:Don’t be late for class again .(Try to read )

T: OK , boys and girls ,let’s try to read together after the tape .

T:How can will read it better ?

S16: We can add some body languages .

T:OK! Let’s do it together .

 3.Checkout time

T:How nice ! Don’t be late for class again .So after class ,they go to a birthday party .Whose birthday party , can you look ,think and choose ?

S17:A and C .

T: Smart . So they talk about their ages , how old are they ,let’s listen and say .

T:Can you try ?

S18: I’m five .How old are you ? S19:I’m six .

S20: I’m nine . What about you ? S21: I’m nine ,too .

T:Great . Look , here “What about you ?” what does it mean ? and what about “too ” ?

(理解这两句话的中文含义Tip :当我们已经说了自己的年龄而后再询问对方时,除了How old are you ? 我们还可以问What about you ? 回答时,如果年龄一样,我们可以在自己的年龄后面加上一个too)    

T:OK ,after the happy birthday party , they write a diary about it ,can you read and choose the correct answers .

Step 3 Conclusion and summary

1. Conclusion

T: OK ,boys and girls ,we have already talked about numbers for ages and numbers for the time ,what else can numbers be for ?

Ss : height / weight/ temperature/ price/scores...

T: Great , so we can see numbers everywhere , and numbers make our life more convenient .

 2. Summary

1. 你想知道对方几岁了:How old are you ?

2. 2. 你想知道他/她几岁了:How old is he/she ?

3. 你猜一猜对方是不是几岁时:Are you ... ?

4. 你已经说了自己的年龄但是还想知道对方的年龄时:What about you ?

5. 回答时发现自己的年纪和对方的一样,你可以说:I’m ... , too .

Step 4 Homework

1. Try to use English to say numbers in your daily life .

在日常生活中使用英文表达数字。

2.Try to use different ways to ask your friends' ages .

  使用不同的方法询问你朋友的年龄。

3. Try to talk about one birthday party that you've attended in English .

  尝试使用英文说一说你参加过的某次生日会。
